Being in business, whether as an entrepreneur or a creative professional, can be challenging. What worked in the past doesn’t always meet clients’ expectations, especially when dealing with technology and how to use it to grow in our industry. Digital tools are here to help us improve and grow. We will be seen as experts in our field, and the ways to do so are listed below.
Be Crafty with Your Content
When creating content, remember that it is not for your eyes only. You must engage with your audience and craft content that reaches, teaches, and informs. Giving relevant expert advice in your blogs, reels, and podcasts will make you an industry leader.
The E in SEO is for Enhancement
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) rises and falls on the enhancement, or lack thereof, in keywords and phrases. To be seen at the top of the SERP (Search Engine Results Page), create content that will attract potential clients to your website or landing page.
Engagement Leads to Loyalty
Engaging with your audience is not just a way to gain loyal followers and, eventually, paying clients. It’s a way to build a community. When visitors leave a comment on your post, engage with them. They reached out to you for a reason, maybe to know more about your products or services. This will, in turn, build the “know, like, and trust” factor that businesses want and need.
Don’t Forget to Be Social
Social media is a great tool to leverage visibility, and let’s not forget that getting paid for it isn’t a bad tradeoff. But finding the best platform for your needs takes some time and research. Each has its pros and cons. However, the goal is not to lose sight of where your target market is and how to reach them.
Get Interactive
Engagement and interaction go hand in hand on social media. Whether it be a live Q&A session about your latest service or a live poll about your next launch, your audience loves to be informed. Engagement can give your online events a boost.
Video is the Way to Go
Video content is captivating and gives your message the boost it needs. By incorporating videos across your platforms (i.e., email marketing, social media, and website), your audience will see you tell your story with emotion and depth.
Be a Bot About It
AI tools and agents are here to help enhance the visitors’ experience on your website. Implementing chatbots can be effective and efficient when dealing with repetitive questions or tasks.
Check the Data
Once you’ve implemented the technology on your platforms, it’s time to check the data on content engagement. How did the video on your new services measure up? What were the analytics on your reels? Performance tools’ results are not meant to hurt your feelings, but they will tell you the truth about what you need to improve on, what works, and what doesn’t.
